Canva -Top Recommended Tool For The Graphically Challenged

Canva is an online web tool that simplifies the creation of graphics and can eliminate the stress you get when sitting in front of the keyboard, under a deadline, and need to create a persuasive graphic for your presentation, blog post or email.

According to the folks that decide the winners of The Webby Awards:

“Canva is the easiest to use design program in the world.”

Using a familiar and non-intimidating template approach, I found it extremely easy to get started on my project. Rather than staring at a blank screen, you first select the template for what you want to create right from the home page.

They currently have nineteen templates showing, including:

  • Twitter Post
  • Social Media
  • Presentation
  • Poster
  • Facebook Cover
  • Blog Graphic

  • Read Estate Flyer
  • Kindle Cover
  • Pinterest
  • Google+ COver
  • Twitter Header
  • Document

  • Card
  • Photo COllage
  • Business Card
  • Invitation
  • Facebook Ad
  • Facebook Post
  • Facebook App

It is rare that I break out in a smile when using a new tool for the first time but that is exactly what happened to me. I was having fun creating and building something that I was proud of so quickly and with such little effort. Drag and drop everything that you could possibly want, import photos or graphics that you already have onto your on-screen canvas. Move things around, re-size, recolor and experiment until your satisfied.

Once you have created your masterpiece, you will be pleased with how easy they have made it to get your graphic to where you want to use it.

Click, link and publish as you choose. It doesn’t get much easier than that.

Canva is free to use most everything but they also offer the ability to buy some graphics at a low price if you just can’t get what you want.

Visit Canva.com and get started creating graphics that beat your expectations and save the headache of staring at that blank screen when creating your next graphic.

I had never come across this before, Miles. This is an excellent piece of kit. As someone who runs their whole life/business on Chromebooks, applications like this are very useful indeed.
