Convincing Conversations On The Go

Convincing Conversations On The Go

You can now lead convincing conversations anywhere with the help of an iPad or other mobile device. Your presentations are available anywhere without the need for a laptop.  Wishful thinking just a few years back, but available now from MightyMeeting.

As long as you have access to the internet, you can present one slide or an entire slide deck from your:

  • iPad
  • iPhone
  • Android
  • Netbook
  • Laptop
  • Desktop

mightymeeting logoMightyMeeting allows you to upload your Powerpoint presentations or PDF’s to the MightyMeeting site and then view, present or manage your library of presentations directly from your mobile device.  You can also share them via email, Facebook, blog or Twitter with a few simple clicks. Oh, and by the way, it is FREE.

Once you have uploaded your presentations to MightyMeeting, you are able to manage and present them from your desktop, laptop or other mobile device.  My preference is to use the iPad app or iPhone app to access my presentations.  A photo is worth a thousand words?  I agree and have found it very effective to be able to show a slide or more to someone at lunch or coffee than to try to explain the same thing to them in words.

Try to verbally explain the concept on the image below vs. showing the slide directly to your customer.

Social Media Matters Graphic

It is much more effective to use the graphic to make your point.  Many of us are visual learners, myself included.  We learn best when we can see something, vs. hearing it or reading it.

I have been at untold Starbuck’s meetings where a napkin and a pen was simply not getting my message across.  With MightyMeeting, my entire PowerPoint library is at my disposal.

So, here are the steps to get started:

  1. Sign up for your free account
  2. Upload your presentations or email them to MightyMeeting
  3. Open your presentation to share with the person you are with or
  4. Start a meeting and invite others to attend by using the Room ID generated by MightyMeeting.

Recently added support for voice conferencing over the internet allows meeting participants to start or join a voice conference via iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Android or Web.  It works with either WiFi or 3G cellular services available.

You might not need MightyMeeting at this moment, but now that you are aware of it’s capabilities, you will find yourself wishing you had it.  Install it, use it and invite me to a meeting to show off your skills.  If you are already using MightyMeeting, tell us how you are using it in the comments area below.
